Flourishing in the rain is a beautiful way to see a difficult time. It's stormy here, too, actually and metaphorically for unexpected reasons. I've been getting up early in the cooler morning hours to walk in the forest and let each microseason sing its song of healing calm. This fills me with peace and I'm glad that it comforts you also.
